Group Keyboard Class

Fun Social Environment
Some students prefer to learn in a group. Just like sport, competition motivates them to excel. Keyboard classes offer students a very social learning environment where students encourage each other to learn and classes are  full of laughter and fun.
Ironically other students are more nervous in a group and prefer an individual lesson as they find it less stressful. There is no right or wrong way to learn. Students will progress quickly when they feel happy and secure and enjoy their lessons.
Ready Steady Go!
Students begin to learn about the geography of the keyboard, the sounds of the different instruments and the various drum beats. They also learn the basics of reading music.
Keyboard prepares students for playing in a band. Students learn to keep in time with the drumbeat and become aware of  different melodies, harmonies and chord progressions.
The Keyboard offers a world of exploration and adventure as students discover different sound effects and how to play their favourite songs.
Students also become comfortable playing in a group situation so it builds their confidence and prepares them for performance.

Inspiring Students
Most students ask to learn an instrument because they like listening to music and it makes them feel happy. Students will progress quickly if they learn to play their favourite songs.  Life changes very quickly for younger students so does their taste in music. We as teachers at The Music Company keep up with the latest trends across various styles so that we can reach students at their level and continue to inspire them.
Keyboard class is full of  energy and excitement as students arrive eager to know what song from the charts or latest film they are going to learn next.  Similar interests and working together encourages laughter and friendships that can last a lifetime.
